On Monday morning, the teacher walked into the classroom and reminded the students of last week’s assignment:
— Kids, I asked you to do a good deed. Now, Osman, Temel, and Ali, come up to the board and tell us what you did.
Ali started:
— The other day, I helped an old lady cross the street.
Temel added:
— I helped Ali. We crossed her together.
Then Osman jumped in:
— And I helped both of them. The three of us crossed her together!
The teacher, confused, asked:
— But why did all three of you help the same lady?
All three replied at once:
— Because she didn’t want to cross… we made her!
