A little boy was practicing the violin at home.
He was trying to learn the notes while making some attempts at playing.
His father was sitting on the couch, trying to read his newspaper.

But there was a problem: the family dog barked at every sound the boy made with the violin!

It turned into a strange kind of concert: violin sounds, barking sounds, a chaotic melody…
At first, the father tried to be patient and took a deep breath.
But the boy wouldn’t stop playing, and the dog wouldn’t stop barking.

Finally, the father couldn’t take it anymore and called out:

— “Son, play a song the dog doesn’t know so he’ll stop barking for a while!”
